GOAL – Helping JMA and its Families

Did you knowGOAL helped 51 students (39 families) attend JMA who may have otherwise not been able to attend here?

Did you knowGOAL does not offer full tuition scholarships?

Did you know… of those 51 students only 6 compete in varsity athletics

Did you know… 32 GOAL recipients were in the Lower School?

Did you know… 8 GOAL recipients were in the Middle School?

Did you know… 11 GOAL recipients were in the Upper School?

Did you know… the average adjusted gross income for each family on GOAL last year was $54,342.00?

Did you know… the average household size of a GOAL family is 4 people?

Did you know… the average percent of tuition paid by GOAL per student was 30%? So on average a student’s family still had to pay 70% of JMA’s full tuition.

Did you know… those students accounted for an extra $280,617.00 in total funds to JMA?

Did you know… those funds were used for faculty training, to keep tuition rates down, and to enhance our academic, athletic, fine arts and service programs?

Did you know… 65 of JMA’s faculty, parents and friends re-directed part of their taxes in 2013 to JMA?

Did you know… line item 16 (Form 500) on your tax return shows the Georgia tax liability that you had for 2013?

Did you know… the amount on line 16 is money you paid to the state for them to spend as they see fit?

Did you know… some (or all) of your tax liability money (up to $1,000 filing single and up to $2,500 filing jointly) could be redirected to benefit JMA?

NOW THAT YOU KNOW… Contact Dianne Bayne 478.452.5570 ext. 102 dbayne@johnmilledge.org to see how easy the process is to donate to the GOAL Program.
