2019-20 Board of Trustees Nominations

Seeking Nominations for the JM Board of Trustees!

The Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for the upcoming 2019-2020 Board of Trustees. In June 2019, the terms of elected members of the John Milledge Board of Trustees will expire.  The Board of Trustees is made up of a minimum of 9 elected members who serve three-year terms.  The Board of Trustees also appoints a minimum of one individual for a one-year term.  The Board has the fiduciary responsibility for the governance of the school and promotes the mission of the school.

If you would like to find out more about the role of the board and what is expected of individuals who serve on the board, please plan to attend a board orientation meeting on Wednesday, February  20th at 6:30pm in the Head of School’s Office.

In order to be considered, nominees must complete the Board of Trustees Nomination form (attached), place in a sealed envelope and mail or deliver it Mrs. Glover in the High School Office. Nominations will not be accepted unless the form is submitted.  Nomination forms must be submitted by 12:00pm on Friday, March 1, 2019.
